Adobe Photoshop classes will be held in historic downtown Rome, Georgia, at Studio Siri, the fine art studio of Norwegian artist Siri Gundersen Selle.

The beautifully renovated 1800's building, which also houses Hawthorne Suites Hotel, provides a pleasing historic and artistic setting. The studio is within walking distance of many unique, locally owned restaurants and specialty stores, as well as a beautiful river walk and pedestrian bridge at the conjunction of Rome's three rivers.

Pen tool path
When you want to use the pen tool to create a path, make sure the "Paths" button in the pen tool options bar is selected.

If you want to add to the path later, select the same path in the paths palette before you start again.

If you want to save your path as a custom shape in the shapes preset library, (1) select the path in the paths palette, (2) select Edit>Define Custom Shape.

Then you can choose the custom shape tool in the toolbox, select the shape in the Shape menu in the tool options bar, and draw your shape as a path or a shape layer.

This is a great way to store and conveniently use one-color logos and combine them with other images in Photoshop.
